Supercharger adapter questions
We've had our 2026 R1S with a NACS charger for about 1.5 months and charge at home with an L2 charger. In thinking about summer road trips, we went to test the Tesla local superchargers, but it didn't connect and we didn't know why. After using the charge map on the Rivian, we saw that specific supercharger is marked as "incompatible". (We had just driven there, since we knew where it was.)
After googling, I saw that only V3 and V4 superchargers are compatible with Rivian, so now we know we have to use the map in the car to see what will work. But in looking at that, I had some other questions.
It looks like Electrify America uses the CCS1 charger (pictured). Do some of the others - EVgo and Chargepoint use that as well? I feel like given the Tesla superchargers are limited to V3 and V4, we'd like to have charger options/adapters in the car. Do we also need a J1772 adapter or is J1772 outdated?
Are these what we need? Is A2Z EV any good?

My other question is around the Tesla supercharger that says "Adapter needed". Aren't all Tesla chargers NACS? What adapter would that be?
Thanks!
