My best friend of over 15 years has always had a tendency to cut me off once getting into a relationship and blatantly picking his significant other over me (which is understandable to an extent)
He’s been single now for a bit and our relationship has been good
But recently he’s been dating this girl for about a month at our local college & spending every minute with her (which is fine) but they got into an argument the other night and she went and stayed at her Ex’s house and made public posts with each other… he comes running back how he needs me and I’m a great friend. He tells me all of this and how he is completely done & she slept with her Ex and he dodged a bullet and all of this Fast forward 5 days and he’s asleep at her house right now! I’m personally outraged & anytime he gets into a relationship it feels like I don’t even know him but this time just feels like he hit an all time low.
I’m not sure wether I need to just cut ties and start a new with all of this or allow this nonsense to keep happening
(Keep in mind!! My buddy is a really good guy, stays out of trouble, great grades throughout high school and college, respectable etc….)
EDIT: I need to preface, we still hangout now and this new relationship hasn’t been as extreme as the others by any means we spend quite a bit of time together granted I just think that he’s an absolute fool going back to somebody who is sleeping with their ex at the same time & I personally feel like me surrounding myself with it I feel dumb.
