Sound being normal level only when touching side of cartridge during play.
I have recently obtained a Lafayette LSC-888B along with its speakers and I believed it's all setup correctly. Whenever I try to play a record it goes in and out with its audio and it can only stabilize to its normal audio when I touch it lightly on the side of the cartridge facing outward. I have no idea how to take that assembly apart if need be. I can send pictures if requested.
