I’m wondering what to do with all the miniatures I’ve painted now that my legacy game is finished. I have no plans to ever replay it, and storage space for game boxes is limited. I spent countless hours and a decent amount of money on painting supplies to complete all 72 minis from Tidal Blades 2. I enjoyed the process of painting them and am proud of what I’ve created. For now, I’m displaying them in a small case and considering recycling the game or donating to a friend/FLGS since it can be played with the included standees. I’m not sure I’d ever sell it or ask for any premium compensation for having been painted.
What do you do with your painted miniatures once you retire a game? Do you also feel attached to your work and find it hard to let go?
