For some time I have been able to play Splitgate on my Steam Deck, but now when I try to start the game it gets stuck and the initial loading screen at 29%, freezes, restarts and freezes again. Any Steam Deck (or maybe also Linux) players of Splitgate also encounter this and how to fix the issue?

I have tried installing both Proton anti-cheat runtimes, but it didn't change anything.
