I know this sounds insane- I’m an alevel student in wales (first year (year 12)) and am set on moving to America (specifically New York) after my last year of college (I’d be 18).
What would be my best bet at moving. I’m willing to share an apartment, work a boring job or even get a scholarship for NY uni. I want to focus on my music I know it sounds dumb but I gotta feel I could be something special and I’m in love with NY!
I get £250 a month at an opticians I work at and am in the process of getting my alevels. can someone give me a rundown as to whether it’s at all possible to move, how Welsh->American unis work, visas and whether there would be a job likely available for a young foreigner. Thank you so much in advance!
