I've always gone by Dave. My family calls me Davey, but my real name is David.
Over the last ten years I've been trying to find a more gender neutral nickname. Thought about going as Davi or Davie publicly for awhile.
However a coworker mentioned their dad was a David and he used to go by Vid. And now I'm thinking damn that sounds so cool.
Think it'd work?
