Is it possible to live a monogamous life if I want to be open?
Me and my best friend of 8 months recently admitted having very strong feelings for one another, and have acted on them. However, I had been exploring sexually and romantically with multiple other people when we were only friends, because I never considered having a chance with him. He wants a monogamous relationship, I want him entirely, but also want 'meaningless' sexual/romantic interactions with others, but he said the idea if that makes him feel worthless. He is a very reserved person who values any physical intimacy as very important and only for people you love. Is there a way a relationship between us could ever work, or is there a way to lessen my desire to need other flings?
I'm struggling alot with this decision and just want some help or words of advice :')
