Patience during the process (28M and 28F)
My boyfriend and I have been together for a year now, and decided in February of this year to start making moves to close the gap. He’s moving from a mid size city on the east coast to the Midwest, where I live.
He’s been applying for jobs since, and is waiting to hear back from a place regarding an interview. But we all know, the job market is rough and it could be number of months before anything happens. What’s worse is I can tell the job search is rough on him, and we really feel ready to be together in the same place. He also works in a niche field where there’s just not a whole lot available to apply for every week.
Anyone have any advice on how to support each other through the transition and still have fun and enjoy the summer, even if he’s not here? Both of us are feeling kinda discouraged.
