I'm 21 and my parents are getting a divorce I have 4 little sisters between 13 and 9.

I live in the basement apartment of my mom's house with my wife. I know it is bad for my mom to talk about my dad to the girls. but can I?

my mom got full custody and he gets visitation. My dad is emotionally abusive and I don't talk to him unless I absolutely have too.

when it comes to talking to the girls about it. I ask them how their day is after they come home from seeing my dad and they tell me. and we talk about his actions towards them. often they are uncomfortable or frustrated with him.

I know my mom can't talk about it to them and I want them to feel supported and not alone but I don't want her to lose them because of me.
