Does this red patch in my leg look like eczema or a fungus?

Hi everone. I just want to try find out if this looks like eczema or if it looks fungal? I do have a history with eczema and dry skin.

Claude seems to think it's contact dermatitis with my pants.

Chatgpt seems to think it's fungal.

I have applied a thin layer of Terbinafine in the meantime. I just don't want to apply it if I should be treating it like eczema instead.
