so it’s spring time, snow is melting and dog shit piles up and looks more unpleasant than usual. it’s a 20 minute fix for a dog on a 7ft lead, no problem.
however, my landlords showed up at my roommates place of work and casually said “have you ever had dog shit on your windshield?”. my roommate said “no, why did you do that?” and our landlord proceeded to say “nope but i’m going to if i step in it.”
obviously nobody likes to step in shit, so picking it up isn’t an issue. it was the threat of personal property instead of a casual notice like most places would do.
what should be our next step? the dog poop has been picked up and the yard is now spotless, it’s just the way it was done about feels wrong. (both early 20 females in our first place)
