My partner and I went through a cabinet company that many people recommended in our area. Their work is all over the place with businesses. When we went through the process of picking out cabinets, counter tops, sink..etc., they quoted 5 weeks for everything to be ready. We just had to pay half of down payment. This wasn’t going to include install but we did request recommendations, never received until now.
5 weeks have went and we have ripped out the previous kitchen, laid new flooring, bought new appliances, and prepped everything for the install. When we contacted the sales representative he said that our order was unprocessed. Apparently, the wholesaler has no information regarding our cabinets so they were never made. This is us finding out after trying to get ahold of the representative for a couple of days for a follow up with zero response.
They have our down payment and all we received was an apology that they weren’t ordered…
Where do we go from here? This unacceptable for a 30k kitchen without install.
