What was your pickup experience?

The concensus seems to be…terrible. I wonder what everyone’s experience has been?
I have picked up a model 3, and a Y in the past 2 years. The Y was first, and I was surprised by how it was handled. At least in comparison to other new cars I had purchased. It took about 20 minutes for anyone to come talk to me. When I finally talked to someone, they ran off to find the right person. Another 15-20 mins and I finally had someone. They initially refused to let me see the car until after delivery. This seemed shady to me, so I politely refused until I saw it. The sales rep was not happy and ran off to find out where my car was. I was able to look at it and took delivery. Quick signatures and I was off.
The model 3 was much better, but it was also a smaller Tesla dealer. I found the car myself before going inside and I found some blemishes on the paint. They scheduled me right in to get them fixed and I took delivery. Quick signatures and I was on my way. Paint was perfect after the scheduled visit to fix it.
