Received bill for services after cancellation date

I cancelled my service on 5/1, and actually made a post here about it because I didn't receive any confirmation. I was told on the phone when I cancelled that I was getting a credit for about $6 as I was cancelling at the very end of my billing cycle. Instead, today I received a bill for $6.02 for a billing period that started on 5/2, with a false claim that I cancelled on 5/4. u/XfinityChelsea also confirmed in a DM on that date that billing was stopped as of 5/1.

I called in to cancel my service tonight, effective immediately. The rep said it was cancelled, mentioned a credit that would apply (one day's worth, must be for today since the next billing period starts tomorrow), but I didn't get any kind of confirmation email and I can't see anything when I log into my account in a browser (have never used the app) that would indicate that the service is cancelled.

Also, I forgot to ask, and the rep didn't mention, what I should do with my cable cards (RIP HD Homerun Primes that have been in use since 2013 and kept Windows 7 computers at every TV). Not sure if they are considered EOL and not needed back or if they still have to be returned. They are the only comcast-owned equipment I have.
