My debt from opportune was sold off (trying to get a second job, no luck) to jefferson capital, how long do they generally wait to sue after buying your debt? Its been more than 30 days and still not appearing on my credit reports. Previous roommate screwed me out of rent so I'm paying down what I owe my complex. The debt is 7k so I know they will chase it, while I'm paying down my complex, im going to try to at least save 2k so if they don't accept it, I will just declare bankruptcy (the total debt I owe to Jefferson, my complex and one other card is 11k, i make 28k a year as it is, im screwed).
