I’m (M, based in Gurgaon) growing out my hair since July 2025 and aiming to grow till neck length. I have 2c-3a low porosity, dry, and frizzy curly hair, and it’s getting difficult for me to manage and style my hair at this point.
Right now, my routine is to wash my hair once a week with a moisturising shampoo, followed by a leave-in conditioner, then a curl cream (2 to 3 minutes later), and finally end with a volume gel — all steps on a soaking wet hair and some crunching. (Products listed below)
I blow dry at medium heat with low airflow and then leave my hair for natural drying.
My hair is denser on the sides and back than on the middle part -- which also dryer and frizzier than sides and back after natural drying.
I’m seeking advice on how can I manage and style my hair? Do I need a little trim? I was thinking of going to a curly hair salon in Delhi NCR to lower the volume of sides and back to make my head to look more balanced, without sacrificing my hair length.
