I’m currently 6 months into my role at GF but I’ve recently received an offer from Micron.

Current GF role:
Equipment Engineer with ownership of 200mm and 300mm diffusion equipment. It is not difficult to stand out as long as you put in the hard work and help the people around you. I don’t think promotion will be a concern. But then I’ll be stuck as an equipment engineer or I’ll have the option of moving to one of the equipment makers.

Micron role:
NPI engineer for HBM advance packaging team.

I want to better understand the career trajectory of the NPI engineer role at Micron. Micron pays slightly better but not enough for that to justify the jump as that gap will be closed when I receive my annual increment at GF.
