And the daughter basically rolls her eyes at the dad and doesn’t say goodbye when she leaves the car? And we were all left to believe that he was treated this way because his daughter was embarrassed and disappointed in him because he stole cable?

Yeah, well that’s how my teenager son deals with me when I drop him off at school and I didn’t steal cable or do anything to deserve that crap. Now that I’m a dad of a teen, I realize how stupid that commercial was. That’s just a teen being a teen.

So, moral of the story? Go ahead and steal cable. Your kids will disrespect you regardless and life is short.

If you aren’t sure what I’m talking about, it’s in workbench and it appears when you select something from a different part of the analysis tree. Like, for example, selecting a contact boundary condition while you had a result plot shown.

Essentially what it does is this annoying screen animation thing where it does a black circular wipe thing around the screen before showing the thing you selected.

I’ve tried ignoring it for months but I’m about to lose my mind with it. I tried to find a setting somewhere to turn it off but I can’t find it.

Has anyone successfully found a way to turn it off?
