Coming for the summer - should I drive or fly?

I have been accepted to participate in summer research at UTEP and am so excited!! I only have a couple of weeks to make arrangements and arrive. I live in Georgia. Flying seems more logical, but I'm not sure how manageable it will be to not have a car for the whole summer. Is it easy to get around with uber/etc. I think my housing is on campus, but I would still have to get to the store sometimes and I would like to explore the city some. Please help :)

After 26 applications and many tears shed, it finally happened !! I received the last rejection letter this morning from my list and actually got an initial rejection letter from this program, but I got the call today that I was being accepted to work with my top choice mentor. I honestly cant even believe it's true and am so thankful. The universe has its ways. If it is meant to happen for you, it will. The piles of rejections are so hard, but it doesn't mean a "no" forever, maybe its just not right for you :)

Now I just have to get ready to spend the summer across the country in two weeks haha wish me luck 🍀
