I'm mostly just curious as I've only made a candle once and it was just a simple vanilla scented one, but I was thinking about my Great grandma who passed a year ago and considered making one that smells like her old house.

Nothing like the typical "grandma's house" scented candles that have the bakery type smells. It's more like the static background scents when there's no food cooking in the kitchen. That old lady smell with a hint of mothballs and roses and a well-worn hand built house.

The only scent popping up in my head is fresh linen, but I'm not sure that even that is quite right as a starting scent. Any ideas? I'll probably try to narrow more scents down next time I go to Bath & Bodyworks.

So today, I found out Homedepot is selling pawpaw seedlings in 1gal, 5gal, and 7gal pots. I think it's only online and maybe at a few select stores, so I'd have to get them shipped. Honestly, it's pretty expensive just for one 1gal seedling.

I had like 3 from seed, sprouting, but now I'm down to 1 seedling, which I'm hoping will pull through. It looks like it's doing ok so far.

So I was mostly just curious. With this fruit juice canning method, how long will the juice store for?

Are there any good juice recipes for long-term or extended period storage?

Can fruits like watermelon or other melons be used? Maybe even something like cucumbers?

Don't worry it's not a real rooster. My mom was messing around close to this statue rooster I got last year from Hobby Lobby when a small bird flew out of the butt. she looked inside, and sure enough, there was a little nest inside.🤣

I guess he'll be a poppa soon. 😂
