So there’s a good chance I just don’t know what I’m doing, but I’d really like feedback. I got a used MXL 990 and a 48v power supply and a XLR to aux converter so I could plug it into my pc but the only audio I can get out of it is garbage and I have to literally have my mouth on the mic for it to register.

Any ideas?
