I do not understand how to flirt well
I think I just might be too literal for this. I do have a general idea, and I would say my style of flirting is more soft, honest statements, but outside that I can't seem to figure it out. I can clearly see how other people boldly flirt with me, I just can't seem to figure out how to translate that into my own words. I am trying to figure it out but it's just as difficult as bantering, like there's a level of playfulness I can't seem to manage.
It's not that my style of flirting isn't valid, but I want to know how people can be so bold, flirtatious or teasing because I can't seem to manage it at all. I wish it was as easy as just saying what comes to mind, or expressing how I feel, but I'm a fairly direct person. I like to express these things as honestly as I can, which means that poetic or adding more "flare" to things almost feels like I'm being performative, even if it's still true and just has more colourful words to make it sound better
