I just found a queen, i intend to keep her but i know nothing about ants, how do i take care of her?

Did i just find a queen?

I know very little about ants, i was out in the woods looking for insects and found this single ant in a broken piece of wood, no other insects at all were in that log actually besides this big ant. thinking back i shouldnt have taken it but is it a queen?
