Colony bubble gummers

All my colony cats have precious noses The first collage is Bash. First 2 was in August when he was dumped and the rest are now. He went from scared, shy and skinny to healthy, funny and sweet. They were all drop trapped and fixed last year. Now, they’re all trusting of me and are sweethearts.

Their names? Bash, Momma Ocean, Kona, Kai and Ziggy. They are 5 of 13 colony cats i take care of. Enjoy their adorable noses and sweet faces.

Blaze suffered in silence, now he trust me enough to show he hurts. Please help me, help him. (East TN)

Blaze has been with me for about a year now after being TNRed. He is 1 of 13 we tend to. When he was neutered, the clinic told me he had a “nasty mouth,” but because it was a low-cost TNR clinic, they weren’t able to do anything.

He’s always managed okay with softened food and wet food, but recently things have changed. He’s drooling some, seems to have lost weight, and I can tell his mouth is hurting him more now. I’ve been giving him wet food, Dashi Delights, Churus, and Nutri-Cal to help keep calories on him and make eating easier.

Blaze is semi-feral, still no petting, so this has to be handled carefully. He does meow at me, play and interact with the other colony cats, but trapping him and getting treatment done the same day is the safest option for him.

The estimate I was given for his dental care is around $500–$800 depending on what they find once he’s examined. As soon as I’m able to trap him, the vet will evaluate him and call me with the exact amount before doing the procedure. Right now, $325 has been raised toward his care which is huge, but he needs more.

Despite his rough start, Blaze is such a sweet soul and deserves relief from the pain he’s been living with. If anyone would like to help with his vet costs, we'd truly appreciate it. Showing Blaze he isn't alone and learning what love is, is beautiful.

Thank you for caring about Blaze. 🧡🧡🐾

Bash has been around about 10 months now. In the beginning, he would dash off at the sight of me. Now he joins in at playtime, meows for attention, rolls around, and this morning he finally let me pet him for the first time.

I care for him and 12 others, all TNRed, and he’s found his little family here — especially his tux/cow cat crew and his bestie Blaze (orange tabby) Blaze is still a no-touch boy too, but the two of them cuddle, play, and stick close together. Watching these ferals slowly learn safety and trust is one of the best feelings there is. 🖤🤍

Help me, help feed Blaze (and the other 12)

When I had him neutered through a low-cost TNR clinic, they noted he had a “nasty mouth,” but they don’t provide dental care. I don’t know what caused it — whether it was from a past fight or possible human-related trauma — but it’s clear his mouth has been an issue for a long time.

Up until recently he was still eating okay, but over the past week things have changed.

He’s drooling, holding his mouth open more, seems more withdrawn, and I believe he’s lost some weight. Cats are so good at hiding pain, and that’s what worries me most.

I’ve been giving him wet food (he loves Dashi Delights) and adding Nutri-Cal to help, but I know that’s just a temporary support — not a fix. He also still needs his vaccines updated, but his mouth is the priority right now.

Because Blaze is still feral, I can’t handle him. I’ll need to trap him for care (thankfully he is drop-trap trained, so that part will be manageable).

I called about dental care, and the estimate is overwhelming: • $500 for a cleaning alone

• With exam, anesthesia, x-rays, and possible extractions, it could reach $800+ 😩

First video clip is him now, I can tell hes lost weight.

Thank you for caring about him ❤️

I hate asking, but I truly cannot do this alone right now. If anyone is able to help Blaze get the care he clearly needs, I would be so grateful. Even sharing this helps more than you know.

Thank you for caring about him 🧡🧡🧡

Luna was a feral cat. The reason I fell in love with cats. I use to toss her turkey and she'd jet with the turkey in her mouth, before I got cat food and months later tamed and fixed and now loving the inside life. She hates turkey, now. Her reaction everytime is hilarious and I finally got it videod. 😹😹😹

This video captures so much of who they are—their little personalities, playtime, social time, and the love they’ve found here.

Every one of these cats was dumped like trash. They were left with no shelter in winter, no food, unaltered, and no one looking out for them. Since then, more have been added to the colony, but every single one has been cared for. All but one have now been successfully TNR’d.

So far, 8 colony cats are due for vaccines—2 are already past due, and 6 more will need updates through May and June. I’ve also been able to place 11 cats into foster homes. Every one of them has been adopted except the newest, who is just waiting on his neuter and vaccines.

Right now, the colony really needs shelters to help them escape this heat. They’ve been spending a lot of time in my shed lately, especially at night, so I added a window fan to the wishlist to help keep it cooler and give them some airflow while they rest.

They also need wet food, and truly anything on the wishlist helps more than you know. Monetary donations will first go toward getting Ray neutered, and anything left will go toward vaccine updates for the colony—especially Ziggy and Blaze, who are already overdue.

Thank you all for continuing to care, support, and help me help them. This is a one-person operation, and I’m just doing everything I can for cats that deserved better.

If they get a bew one i am puttinf it in their shed, along with the cat shelves. I would love to create them their own home. Hey yall! Quick supply check-in 🐾

Right now I could really use:

Wet food

Cooling supplies (shade options, cooling bowls fans)

A crate/carrier for vet transport

We’ve got 8 cats needing vaccines and 1 left (for now) to TNR, so things are a little heavy on the vet side right now.( cash goes to vetting and future vetting if more) vaccines are around $75 per cat. The neuter with all vaccines, worm and flea will be approximately $110.

We’ve gotten 3 into rescue this month, and since last March, 14 placed — all thriving and doing well ❤️

I’m sure more will show up, we’re already preparing for kitten season (dropping grounds for moms and babies). Hints kitten food on list. Id rather be prepared.

If anyone wants to help, I’d really appreciate it — whether it’s supplies or help toward vet bills.

Thanks as always for having my back with this colony ❤️
