Questions about charcuterie boards for my tasting room
Hey all!
I am the GM of a tasting room for a distillery, and currently, we do not serve any type of food. We do allow people to bring food in from outside, as long as it's prepared in a commercial kitchen. However, I have been entertaining the idea of having charcuterie boards available for purchase and I had a few questions:
Reusable boards or to-go containers that anyone could take with them? Any recommendations?
How many and what types of options should I have and what is a reasonable price?
Would you recommend working with a local market/deli and pricing it out, or go with a distributor?
Our average group size is anywhere from 2-6 usually and we will occasionally get a bigger group in. So I was thinking of keeping the board sizes as "for two".
I may not be thinking of everything, so please ask anything!
Any recommendations would be terrific, thank you!
