Advice on tapering down and quitting Seroquel?

Hey guys, I'm really new here, new to posting on Reddit at least but I'm looking for some advice. I'm currently in limbo at my job, my union is NOT being helpful thus far in even securing an answer to whether im fired or not but the company wasted no time in cutting off my benefits.

I have 11 50 mg pills left and i'm so worried im going to have to just quit cold turkey if I don't get my job back along with my insurance. I've been on Seroquel, specifically the generic, for about 7 years or so and while thankfully I seem to be on the fairly low side of things I'm so, so worried about withdrawals. I was given this mostly as a sleep aid because my job required me to switch shifts every week (night shift to afternoons to mornings), and I was never able to stay asleep but this helped me stay asleep for longer than 2 hours. Could i potentially just cut my pills in half and hopefully adjust well enough to get off it entirely or are withdrawls for 50 mg not as severe as the higher dosages? Also, please forgive me if this is all over the place, its 2 in the morning and I'm too anxious from everything going on right now. Thank you in advance! ❤️
