When the trailer for s3 came out a spot of people where speculating that Maddie would have sort of a pimp like character arc, and that shed sell Cassie to Alamo or into prostitution. This was something people were constantly rooting for online and some on this subreddit too.

I feel like people are confusing their preference for the actors with the characters. Like you hate for Sydney and love for Alexa is not equated to your hate or love for the characters.recently with all the stuff that comes out about the diddy trial and Epstein files, it made me so unsettled that people were actively rooting for Maddie to sell Cassie into sex work. Like how is nobody questioning just how disturbing that is. Even as a joke, why would one joke about something like that. These are the same people calling Levinson a freak by the way.

Cassie is annoying AF in s2, bearable and kinda funny in s3, but nothing she's down so far justifies wanting to sell her into a dehumanising racket.. I was especially disappointed to see the amount of female fandom engaging in this sentiment.

Please be advised that if you cannot handle any non optimistic perspective on stray kids or any other artist this post is not for you. Also be aware this is to discuss potential criticism areas to improve not to hate blindly. You if you dislike this particular group just because. Then this post isn't for you either.

I do mostly love their music but these are more so some downsides that I think mostly people do also feel but can't express it so we need to call it an unpopular opinion.

Their fan services is borderline embarrassing. I don't understand why grown adults would do this. They're like one for the biggest groups in Korea so it's not about the money. I saw clips from the recent one and it was giving humiliation kink. Grown men wearing furry tails, sharing pepero sticks and almost kidding to please their delusional fans. I got nothing against them kidding they can do as they please but doing it cuz a stadium full of weirdos get excited it strange.

Their music is getting repetitve. I wish Felix would sing in his original tone. The deep voice is not natural to him he has to change . He struggles with it during the live performances and it's evident. It's comes off like growling.

They need to make vocal friendly songs. Their albums largely spotlight their rappers and makes sense if you have han and changing why would you you. But I feel like they need to provide a outlet for their vocalists too.

Bangchan doesn't set any boundaries with fand online. He promotes their paradoxical delusions andnit ends up backfiring in real life when fans invade their boundaries at concerts or airports and then suddenly hes shocked and pissed. Fans should be accountable for their behaviours but I don't think they're entirely at fault for believing that the members would be as open and welcoming in real life than online.

Lately something about them just feels not standard, if that makes sense. Like their love performances are kinda of cringey? Their performance at mama was not great. They were the biggest artist that year and it was just not it. Hyunjins dance break too was cringe. Even their stage outfits are not it. Idk if it's their choreographer or branding manager but something had to change.

Hyunjins lines recently doing kinda incomplete. I know he had some issue with his voice recently but it kinda feels like you fear them it's like that's their best take????

I.N feel very underutilized he has a interesting voice I think it would sound good on a ballad. I've heard his trot covers and it sounds siren like. But with the groups music it feels very limited.

Last thing but this is more of an assumption that I have no one to discuss with it had to do with the two kids room episode with bangchan and seungmin. We all felt bad for seungmin but I feel like the fan reaction were more sympathetic towards bangchan than seungmin. Like "omg I hope he doesn't take it too hard on himself" when seungmin said you never gave me any attention either it did get me thinking about the basis on which bangchan chose the members. From the survival show I got the vibe he was biased towards some meber more than the others. I got the sense that he dint wanna accept or be accountable for seungmin feeling that way, cuz it might break that whole thing about him being the father leader. But ofcourse the fans were all support for him and I think it's odd he always has the fans to fall back on. When he's insecure like. Some of his messages on bubble are low-key pick me like. Now this is just how that situation read to me and not like factual truth in any sense.

Feel free to share yours. I don't mean they are underrated or overrated. I mean an opinion that is specific that you feel no one talks about enough.
