My cat was diagnosed with mammary cancer last Thursday but had been sick for a few weeks, maybe a month or so. Unable to eat and drink on her own because of a cone after surgery.
My(27,f) boyfriend (33,M) have been in constant arguments regarding my cat and him being mad and upset that I can’t go over and stay the weekend with him since my cat Bailey developed her tumor and it opened and I decided to stay with my cat to comfort her and take care of her. Especially after surgery.
The screenshots are just from 2-3 of the arguments we’ve had about it. We’ve had 5 and each time he has apologized and said he understood how I was feeling but went back to square one being mad and upset with me.
What really upset me is how it seems as if he cares more about me going over to see him rather than my cats health and comfort. Even going as far as saying it makes no sense for them to have done the surgery before getting results back on her biopsy (the surgery was to save her life as the tumor started tunneling into her body causing a horrible infection and at multiple points she became completely unresponsive). So the gets decided to remove the mass and infection and do a biopsy, which he apparently thinks makes no sense since she only has 6-12 months to live anyways.
So AIO on wanting to leave him for this?

Another edit: YES I have a bed, a couch, and multiple chairs. He just doesn’t think my bed is comfortable enough for him and the past month or so has been the only time ive “flaked” on him otherwise ive spent every weekend with him since August.
