Let’s be real: most large Discord servers are exhausting. You join, get immediately drowned out by 50 people talking over each other, and eventually just mute the whole thing.
I wanted something different, so I’m putting together a small, low-pressure group for adults (18+) who actually want to make long-term friends without the overwhelming "massive server" energy. This is an inclusive space open to everyone—we're just looking for good people to share our downtime with.
What a normal week looks like for us: We’re a group of introverts and geeks who love to share what we're currently hyper-fixating on. That could mean sharing screenshots of whatever open-world survival game or RPG we're currently grinding, showing off projects like local AI art generation, or just geeking out over niche tech setups.
Beyond the gaming and tinkering, we're big on just hanging out. We regularly stream stuff, host community movie nights, drop pictures of whatever comfort food we're cooking up for dinner, and just unwind together after a long shift at work.
The House Rules:
- Play How You Want: It doesn't matter if you have a custom-built PC or you play casually on a console.
- Zero Voice-Chat Pressure: If you're not big on jumping into voice channels and prefer just hanging out and typing in the chat, you are in good company.
- Drama-Free: We are keeping the group small on purpose. No toxic behavior, no massive egos, and no lurking in the shadows forever. We want people who actually want to converse.
- Friendship First: Because we're all adults, mature conversations happen, but this is strictly a space for making friends—not a hookup or dating server.
If you're looking for a low-pressure spot to just be yourself, shoot me a DM! Give me a quick intro and let me know what genres you're playing, what projects you're working on, or what you’re currently watching.
Looking forward to meeting you!
