I never expected a mutual attraction to grow between us, I told her how I was beginning to feel towards her after several one on one hang outs, traditionally we always were together with mutual friends and she just got out of a bad relationship of 5 ish years. To my surprise she claimed she had a growing attraction towards me, I made it clear that I respected our friendship to the point I was extremely nervous about admitting that to her, but I couldn’t live without having said something. She felt exactly the same way, as it turns out her friends had been pushing her to try it with me anyways, we have spent two days or so together a week, talk each day but we both have life’s apart from each other. “dating” for a month and everything is going great so far, we’ve done everything except have sex. We share hobbies and interests and ideals of life together. Both about 30

My question is how do I navigate making it official? I want to be commited and ask about it but I am unsure how long I should wait? We’re not dating anyone else but I don’t want to move to fast even though we have been friends for so long we already have a history or understanding of each other, so the “trial” period doesn’t need to last so long. We’ve met each other’s parents and some family and friends.

Do these long term friendship before relationships ever work out organically?
