Hi!

I’m a 4th grade ELA teacher, and we are ending the year by reading The Lightning Thief. After we finish the book, we plan to watch both the movie and Season 1 of the series.

I would love to incorporate a fun, hands-on activity inspired by Camp Half-Blood—specifically creating Camp Half-Blood necklaces. I’m also thinking about dividing students into teams, like the Red Team and Blue Team, to build engagement and bring in some friendly competition.

I would really appreciate any ideas on how to organize and implement something like this in a meaningful and exciting way for students.
