Hello! I am international student studying in Germany and preparing for my residence permit renewal appointment. Here is my situation:
I currently have an already extended blocked account with Expatrio. I've had to extend it once already, because I made the account right when I got to Germany, but it took the welcome center several months to get me a residence permit appointment with them. By the time my appointment came around, months worth of funds had already been deposited to me, and I had to extend the account to put funds back in it so I could show I currently had the right amount in the blocked account.
Now, I am in a similar situation: I have enough money to my name, but I need to put it into the blocked account again. Only this time there doesn't seem to be any option for me to extend the account (or put money in it in any other way!). When I go to my blocked account (extended) and blocked account (extension) page in the user portal there is no option to "extend or apply", which the Expatrio help page says I should see in order to extend my account.
I have traded several emails with Expatrio customer service, and they don't seem to even understand my issue, let alone have an answer. Can anyone else help me please? I'm getting desperate and really don't want to have my residence permit removal denied because of a stupid technical issue. Any advice is appreciated.
