About a month ago I sold a sports card for 780.00, the card passed ebay authentication and was stolen between eBay authentication and the buyer. The buyer received an empty brown oversized bubble mailer that only had some paperwork ( the mailer did not show up with “damage item” plastic bag ). The first thing I told the buyer to do is file a police report. He is unable to cause he is out of state and was shipping the card to a friends house. I told him to reach out to USPS but I’m not sure he did or tried.
The buyer has reached out to eBay and eBay has told him that’s he is entitled to a full refund, and at least the guy is cool and is talking about it to me.
I just want to note here that when I sent the card it was sent in a 10x8x4 box, not a bubble mailer.
Anything I can do?
