Clients who never hire anyone should be restricted on Upwork

i honestly think clients on upwork who keep posting SEO jobs and never hire anyone should face some kind of restriction

freelancers are spending real money on connects, writing proposals, preparing for interviews and waiting for replies… meanwhile some clients post 3-4 jobs every week and hire nobody

i’m totally okay if they hire someone else, that’s part of freelancing. what feels bad is when they waste everyone’s time and effort for nothing

last week i got shortlisted by 3 different clients for SEO Job, all scheduled interviews themselves. i adjusted my time according to them, joined on time… and no one showed up

followed up after, no reply at all. not even a “we hired someone else”

we spend connects, time, effort… least they can do is communicate

is this normal now or just bad luck?
