My friend was born in the North West of England to a traveller Dad who her Mum (not a traveller) eventually lost touch with. He died a few years ago and my friend would love to find out where he was laid to rest and pay her respects. However, her Mum is now not in a position to give her much information other than where she met him (40 years ago!). I've tried to help her in Ancestry etc but as the traveller community is, understandably, very closed to outsiders this didn't really help.

Is there anyone who could give her advice on who to ask for help with this?
