I've been using it for a year and this is the only safety razor that I like. It's heavy and doesn't feel flimsy but I wanna restore it and not spend money on a new one. How do I take the rust and damage off?

That product is literally advertised for all surfaces but it caused stained on my dash and has a shine to it nos. It's been about an hour but how do I fix it? Make it matte again?
