Used Pixel 8a from Japanese carriers

Hey guys, I'm very much considering or trying to buy a used Pixel 8a or something similar in Japan, but as I understand it, the Japanese carriers all lock the bootloader... Has anyone had any experience with this? And just tell me straight: is there any possibility of unlocking the bootloader if it's carrier locked? Network unlocked, but carrier-locked bootloader... If there's ANY possible way to unlock it, let me know, because I really don't want to buy one from Google which would make it hundreds more expensive... What can I do, or am I just doomed to have a locked bootloader if I have a phone from a Japanese carrier 🥲 thanks

On my G85 I realized that though the camera is tagging the data as exposed the same, the initial shot in a set of burst shots is slightly brighter than the following shots... Enough of a difference that if there is going to be some slight clipping, then actually the slightly darker shots won't clip anymore while the first would, similarly as shown in the preview

So I assume this is cause of the shutter slightly getting in the way or something by the time the next shots are taken or whatever, maybe also my lens aperture because it actually closes upon taking a shot too... But I'm curious if this is actually normal? Or if it's just a timing issue with my camera, and if so, is it with the G85 in general or is it that mine is slightly defective or what 😅 just curious, thanks

I'm leaning towards believing the lens aperture closing has something to do with it, maybe it can't open fast enough before the next shot is taken or something

As of now, if you are promo banned, your withdrawals will likely take much longer than "typical" (I say that in quotes because it seems a greater majority of people have become promo banned).

What does it mean to be promo banned? A misconception is that being promo banned means you're not allowed to buy promos... That's not the case. It simply means you are no longer offered significant deals. For example, instead of seeing something like $20 for 40 SC, you'll only see things like $1000 for 1040 SC, where the margin of "extra SC" you get is much smaller compared to valuable promos. If you see promos like this, or don't see promos at all, it's almost certain that you are promo banned.

What happens upon withdrawal? Assuming everything else is in order (KYC verified, withdrawal method verified, etc.) you will likely receive your withdrawal exactly 31 days from the time it was submitted. It's possible that future withdrawals after this week won't suffer this fate, but as of all withdrawals from promo-banned accounts from April, the time it will take is generally 31 days on the dot. Also, the amount generally makes no difference, so it doesn't matter if you withdraw $100 or $10000, you'll get it in the same exact time frame in accordance with your account status.

"But the official LoneStarCasino account told me-" nah don't listen to that guy. It's sad but he doesn't/didn't actually know what's going on and his only job is to maintain the image of LoneStar and its customer service and make you feel taken care of... For example he may tell you that he will get the team to take a look at your withdrawal, but it effectively means nothing because if your withdrawal is gonna take 31 days, there's nothing you can do to shorten it unless you cancel and potentially wait even longer (not recommended...). He even tried to claim that the recent quick withdrawal testimonies are due to the team "putting in the work" and hearing our complaints about withdrawal times. This is also false, since affected withdrawals will still not move any faster as it stands now. It's more than likely that such posts were strategically placed to dispel the distrust in the casino.

Also, this is the same situation with realprize, owned by the same parent company that runs Lonestar. All I can tell you is to be patient, I won't spread fake info to make you believe your withdrawal isn't coming, because it is... Its a reputable casino and as long as there are no issues, your money will come in just as I described, like clockwork... But yes, most other casinos do not have this issue even if promo-banned. If anything, I hope we can push for better withdrawal treatment from these two casinos, without seeding distrust, confusion, or false hope that your withdrawal will come earlier than it will.

By the way I have personal experience with both three casinos and I have been promo-banned for a long time, so I've already been aware of this issue since last year. However, it seems a new wave of accounts got promo-banned recently, which is resulting in this outcry. It has been noted before that there are ways to get the promo-ban undone, but there is essentially no exact process for this, as it largely depends on an algorithmic system and some unknown parameters as to if/when your account status will return to normal.

Any questions?
