My jellyfin app on my Firestick is struggling to play files with mono audio. On the browser it's fine. Is there something I need to fix or is it an issue with the Firestick?
EDIT: I fixed it, by telling my app to downmix to stereo. I don't have dolby audio in any case so it should be fine.
Original Post down below for transparency but I figured some stuff out since posting it:
Seemingly random episodes of my Looney Tunes collection will not play on Jellyfin. I have a blank screen and silence, but the timer and the seeking bar do indicate the video is playing in some capacity. The oddest thing is that seeking forward a small amount seems to fix the issue temporarily for the currently playing video.
Are the files here broken? Or is something wrong with Jellyfin?
I've checked my logs, and no issues are being reported there. I've seen nothing to indicate the videos are being transcoded. The videos with the issues do work in media players on my laptop.
EDIT: A little poking around and I've found that the videos struggling to play are marked as Mono audio in the library. Is there something I need to do to fix an issue with mono videos playing?
