Hi everyone, I recently bought new components for my family's pc, went to start up but I got no display.
I thought the problem was of an 8-pin adapter i used because of the modular psu, but after changing the psu and plugging all the cables correctly, the cpu fan and hdd spin to life, but I get no display out. I tried swapping VGA to HDMI, even on different monitors, but nothing. The pc just sits there, fan and hdd spinning and keyboard lights on, but no sign of life.
The specs are:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G
RAM: 4GB 3200mhz (im using a SODIMM stick with an adapter, i know its sketchy but ram prices are crazy)
MOBO: Gigabyte A520M K-V2 (it is ryzen 5000 series ready)
PSU: MSI MAG A650GLD 650W
At first I thought the problem was the BIOS not being compatible with the cpu, but on the mobo box it says ryzen 5000 ready, so I took that option out. The last thing I was thinking about was that the psu (an old chinese one from 2011) didn't have enough power for the system, so i bought an MSI MAG 650W, but the pc still can't boot up. All the cables are completely plugged in.
I dont know anymore what to do.
Thanks to everyone who replies!
(Btw the mobo doesn't have diagnostic LEDs)
