Update on the dead pixels: it’s getting worse (read below)

Every single time I open my 3ds, the amount of dead pixels increases rapidly and it’s causing me a lot of anxiety and, frankly upset at the repair shop I sent it to.

I’ve contacted them since, and they responded instantly (despite ignoring both my emails during the process of the hinge repair, having taken a month longer than expected) saying it wasn’t their fault and “is not related to the shell replacement we carried out.” This is obviously a lie, as I know the bottom screen WAS replaced. I sadly have no photographic evidence, but I remember the scratches and wear made to the old screen like the back of my hand. I’ve had this thing 12 years.
The email was also pretty unprofessional with a couple weird typos, which didn’t help.

I am quite pissed off, as they’re demanding £75 for a bottom screen replacement they ALREADY DID. I am not paying £165 in repairs when half of it is for something they could’ve prevented, and cannot afford to fix myself due to my own inabilities. I really just want to use my 3ds again, because the anxiety of how fast these pixels are spreading is crushing me even if it doesn’t affect gameplay.

As a final note, if anyone here in the uk or europe can help replace the screen, I’m more than happy to help. I cannot afford, and simply do not want to work with these people again.

Just got my lovely Old 3dsxl back after sending it off to get repaired for its hinge crack, all is well on the outside, however I’ve noticed this entirely new dead pixel now on my screen. Is this an issue, and will it spread? I’d hate to have to make a complaint and send it straight back, as the repair shop states they do play tests before and after and this evidently slipped through the net.
If it won’t spread or suchlike, I don’t really mind. This things been practically a part of myself for many years, and I don’t mind a flaw or two ❤️

Is this just down to my tablet lacking certain functions? I'd like to access the Pen feel details and change the sensitivity, but I don't have the Customize button in my menu...
