I was trying to find a conversation from like 2 years ago and realized how painful it still is.

Instagram only loads a few messages at a time, so you end up scrolling forever just to reach a specific date. There’s no proper “jump to date” or fast search across older chats.

Am I missing something here, or is this just how it works?

Curious how others deal with this — especially if you’ve had to find something really old in your DMs.
