Razr 60 Ultra Snapdragon 8 gen 4 ?

I was looking online at the specifications for the Razr 60 Ultra, trying to find the 1TB version if I get lucky enough to come across one. While checking different listings across local stores and sites like Amazon, I noticed something confusing. Almost everywhere says the phone uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which is what it should have. But then some promotional images and spec diagrams say “Snapdragon 8 Gen 4” instead, even on listings that seemed fully official and not sketchy or anything.

What confused me even more is that everything else in those listings clearly points to the Razr 60 series, especially with all the Motorola AI branding that’s exclusive to the 60 and now 70 series. So why does it say 8 Gen 4 in some places if the phone is supposed to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite?

Is this just a common marketing mistake or does some other variant actually exist? I just want to make sure I’m not accidentally buying some different or inferior version if I end up getting one.

I’m deciding between the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7.

I actually prefer the look and feel of the Z Flip way more. The inner screen feels better to me, I don’t like the glossy bezel on the Razr, and I’m not a fan of its curved design. I was basically ready to go with the Razr 60 Ultra… until I saw someone I know drop a nearly new Motorola Razr 50 Ultra and the top half of the screen just died. It didn’t even seem like a hard fall. That kind of fragility worries me.

Right now I have a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, and honestly I like it more than I expected. It’s a solid phone. But the cover screen experience is where it gets annoying.

Main issues:

Apps on the cover screen are inconsistent. Good Lock works, but sometimes apps reset and I have to set them up again.

Some apps are forced zoomed in. For example, 8 Ball Pool is basically unplayable because I can’t see the edges.

Watching content is hit or miss. Disney Plus sometimes just shows a blue screen unless I start the video on the inner screen first, then close the phone. It’s a hassle.

I know the Razr handles cover screen apps better with proper scaling and aspect ratio adjustments. That’s a big plus.

My use case is simple:

No heavy gaming (maybe light stuff or emulation like PS2 with a controller)

Occasionally watching shows on the cover screen

Using apps without weird scaling issues

I also know the Razr 60 Ultra has the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which is stronger than Samsung’s chip, but performance isn’t my priority. I care more about the experience.

So my question: Is the Z Flip 7 actually better with these issues?

Are apps still zoomed in on the cover screen?

Is streaming (like Disney Plus) smoother and more consistent?

Has Samsung improved the overall cover screen experience enough?

Or is the Razr still clearly better for this kind of usage?

Would appreciate real experiences, especially if anyone has tried games like 8 Ball Pool or streaming on the cover screen.
