I realized one missed call could cost a small business thousands… so I built something about it.

It’s been a brutal year.
Working long hours, trying to survive, constantly thinking about how to build something real instead of just trading time for money.
Then something small happened that I couldn’t stop thinking about…
A missed phone call.
At first it seemed insignificant.
But later I realized that one missed call could’ve easily been worth thousands for a service business.
And that hit me hard:
How many small businesses are losing real money every week… not because they suck…
…but because they’re too busy, understaffed, or drowning in paperwork?
That question honestly obsessed me.
Because for huge companies, missed calls are annoying.
For small businesses?
They can mean:
Lost jobs
Lost trust
Lost cash flow
Lost growth
So I started building.
Late nights.
After work.
Learning as I went.
Not because I wanted to “start a SaaS”…
But because I became obsessed with solving a problem that felt painfully real.
Right now, I’m still early.
Still refining.
Still getting feedback.
Still improving.
But seeing something go from frustration → idea → actual product has been one of the most surreal experiences of my life.
Biggest lesson so far:
Sometimes you don’t need a genius idea.
You just need to notice an expensive problem people keep ignoring.
For anyone building right now:
Keep going.
Slow progress is still progress.

I almost lost a $3,000 opportunity because I missed one phone call. That moment changed what I built.

A year ago, I was juggling jobs, trying to survive, and constantly thinking about how to build something of my own.
One afternoon, I missed a call.
Didn’t think much of it.
Later I found out it was a real customer ready to spend thousands… but they called the next company instead.
That one missed call stuck with me.
Not because of the money…
But because I realized how many small businesses lose real revenue from things that seem tiny:
Missed calls
Slow replies
Forgotten follow-ups
Paperwork chaos
For bigger companies, it’s an inconvenience.
For small businesses, it can literally change your month.
So I became obsessed with one question:
How many businesses are quietly losing money, not because they’re bad… but because they’re busy?
That question sent me down a rabbit hole.
Late nights. Testing. Failing. Rebuilding.
I didn’t set out to “build SaaS.”
I just wanted to solve a painful problem I understood.
Now every time I see another missed opportunity, I’m reminded:
Sometimes your business doesn’t need more leads…
It needs to stop leaking the ones it already has.
Still early. Still grinding. But finally building something that feels real.
