I know I'm a little late, but i didnt watch the movie until last night, and listened to the episode this morning.

Its weird than all 3 of them couldn't pick up onto the fact that there was no love plot, but especially Adam.

Through the whole movie HE acts like he's in love to get on her good side and manipulate, and SHE loves him like a pet, and not romantically, which is why she calls him Sweetie, her birds name. To be a professional movie reviewer for almost 20 years, its strange that Adam couldn't pick up on such obvious writing or the fact that is was all misdirection
