I am planning to book 2 rooms at the New York Times Square Marriott Marquis. Refundable rate is same between Bonvoy member app and Chase Sapphire Reserve portal. I’m not accumulating Bonvoy points or status. Should I:

• Book using Chase portal and earn 8x UR points? However, forego free wifi ($17/day/room) and Marriott points?

——>> Does Marriott comp wifi as a courtesy for being a member but booking 3rd party?

• Book using Bonvoy member portal, earn XX number of points (still fuzzy on how many I will earn for 2 rooms), get elite night credits, get free wifi?

Unfortunately I'm only a lowly Member tier so no room upgrades or breakfast options for me through Bonvoy. Please help me figure out which option is most beneficial for me. Thanks!

Any working discount codes to reduce the price from $380+ to $359? Tried a few that have been posted here but they are invalid as of May 3rd. Thanks!
