We just now got them at my store. I'm in my 40s and I'm starting to need reading glasses for small text. So far I've gotten by without them at work, the only hard part is when I have to type in a prroduce UPC manually, but I can't read the tiny number in the corner of these digital tags at all, which means I have to rely on the flash-tag thing.
I really don't want to start using my readers at work, because I can't see anything more than a few feet away with them on, so I'd be taking them on and off constantly.
Anyone else have this issue?

She's a young college kid who probably doesn't realize she can't say that, but...C'mon!
I was complaining to my coach about how much outside-time I've been getting lately and she told me there are multiple people in the dept with ADA restrictions who can't dispense. Now I feel like I'm an asshole if I don't just grin and take it. What do you guys think?
The facts:
*Pick carts are intended by the manufacturer to be pushed to reduce strain or injury
*Walmart OGPs Nationwide are instructing associates to pull them or face penalties
*The above is a clear OSHA violation
So what do we think Walmart's panicked response to this will be? Will they...
Spend money to hastily fabricate and ship yet another generation of pick carts, this time shorter.
Spend money re-writing the pick system to limit walks to six totes and keep the top deck clear.
orSecret third thing I didn't think of.
Our Store Manager just gathered us all up to tell us that since our store has paid out so much money in accident claims this year, we are no longer allowed to push not just pick carts, but ANY type of cart. From now on we must pull from in front at all times, no exceptions.
Our pick carts only have handles on the back, just like every other store's, so this strikes me as...odd.
UPDATE: So, I learned this is DEFINITELY an OSHA violation, so when I got back from lunch I told our TL this, and explained why. About two hours later one of our pickers with a previous bicep imjury tore his bicep pulling the cart and had to leave work. Ironic that the whole reason for this was to REDUCE lawsuits, lol.
