Adobe deleted my post complaining that their product is too expensive

It is! It went up 20% from last year alone. I'm reposting it here so we can all talk about alternatives and their censorship doesn't win.

FWIW I'm switching to Affinity and will pay for a month of Adobe here and there when I need it.

I'm so discouraged, I can't afford this anymore :(

I've been with Adobe since I graduated from art school at 22. I'm 42 now. But I just cannot manage the price increases in the last few years. I've had health problems and a divorce this year. I contact Adobe and explained this, and they offered me 2 months free. That is still out of my price range :(

It's just not manageable for me. I've been a full-time creative for 17 years, but AI seems to have taken a huge bite out of my business and work is REALLY slow. I don't know what to do. What are my options here? I use Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
