Starkey omega ai streaming audio problems (single ear user, mono audio doesn't work)

i’m testing out these new hearing aids… And after a nightmare experience with resound (the slightest tiniest bit of moisture results in the thing malfunctioning… And these appear to be the most durable dust/moisture resistant).

I am a single hearing aid user… And I’ve had no problem historically, having streaming audio from my iPhone, converted to “mono“ audio… But these new hearing aids seem to really, really, really really “want“ to override the mono audio setting into stereo… Splitting up audio into two sending half of it to an ear that doesn’t exist(I use an old protest song for the 1960s as a test since it’s nonstop lyrics and a simple guitar… My hearing aid turns that song into a instrumental track)

now, I’m not entirely sure what I’m hoping to accomplish here… I suppose I was throwing this out there as a last ditch effort to maybe get some perspectives or feedback if this issue seems familiar at all… I like the idea that these things are incredibly durable, and I would really like to have some hearing aids that will stick around for a good number of years… But these streaming audio difficulty is concerning… and maybe somebody out there has found the same problem, but they were able to come up with a fix that the technician/audiologist may not be aware of

anyways… Appreciate anyone who is willing to take the time to read this lol… It really sucks trying to do my homework so I can be as informed as I can before my follow up appointment
