My 2008 Sequoia Limit needs new rear control arm bushings in order to dial in the rear alignment. Under normal driving I guess I'm not too concerned about it, but when towing it's causing some awful wear on the tires so I'm hoping that new control arm bushings and new camber bolts will help.

But since replacing bushings is a royal pain, I'd rather just replace the entire arm since they come with bushings already installed.

BUT, I also don't want to spend nearly a grand for OEM arms if I don't have to.... but my options are limited.

Rock Auto has a single option...

I've used Dorman plenty of times for other parts and they're always "fine." But I'm not sure if I've ever purchased Dorman control arms. Anyone have experience? Or is there another option I'm missing?

Okay I feel like an idiot but... how do you disassemble this thing to replace the bulb? I feel like it has something to do with the tab I'm pointing to in green, but it's all acrylic and doesn't move much. I don't wanna pry on it too much and break it's so small and fragile.

2008 5.7 Limited

Need a new radiator and I've seen enough posts about failed CSF or Koyorads that I'm not sure how comfortable I am going with one of those since this is a mostly highway towing vehicle and I need a rebust cooling system 😛

I've seen plenty of posts in the Tundra community about the OEM radiator actually being a Denso unit, but can't find the Denso part number.

Any know which I should be looking at?
The OEM radiator is 16400-0S010 but I'd of course like to not spend $300 if I can't help it.

Napa has a Denso radiator that comes up when searching - number 2213149

And Rock Auto lists that Denso part number for half the cost:

But they don't list it as a compatible part for a 2008 Sequoia...

So... do I go with the Denso one and hope it's actually the OEM equivalent? Or do I not risk it and spend the $300 at the dealer?

Hey all!

I've gone through and upgraded all my interior lights with LEDs to save on the wattage. But I've kept them all "soft" or "warm" white because I absolutely despise "xenon" white or anything above 5000k temperature - it hurts my eyes and gives me a headache. So it wasn't the easiest task but I did manage to find all of them within the 3000-3500k range. So while they're all definitely brighter than the OEM halogen bulbs, they're still a similar color temp.

The ONLY lights I'm having trouble finding are the door courtesy lights. They're 168 bulbs, but even if I replace those with LEDs, the biggest issue is the actual clear housings themselves. They don't really have a reflector inside so a lot of light is lost INSIDE the door instead of it being reflected back toward the front. It needs a reflector, but it's just all clear plastic.

Even if I upgrade the bulbs to some LED alternatives, it's still losing a lot of output out of the back because of the lack of reflection inside the housing.

So right now, I have some that replace the entire housing with a lens and panel of LEDs.

While they're bright as all hell, there's 2 issues.

  1. The fitment is pretty poor. From 3 feet away they look fine. But they definitely do not fit flush with the door panel and one of them doesn't even snap in fully so it can just be easily removed by hand without a pry tool.

  2. The color temp is 6000k - the bane of my existence. And also, they don't match the rest of my interior lights which are all on the warmer spectrum.

So, anyone have an alternative that I haven't considered?
